  1. Supervise warehouse floor, and manage a team of employees in the warehouse, on the cross dock and in the ARC.
  2. Train and coach employees.
  3. Monitoring the performance of employees
  4. Communicate with other Shift Supervisors, Lead Supervisor and Warehouse Manager
  5. Responsible for maintaining shift schedules, employee assignments/rotations,
  6. Responsible for new hire and employee training,
  7. Responsible for plan staffing for employee vacations,
  8. Oversee daily operations in specific areas including monitor employee breaks, delegate overtime assignments per the collective agreement, co-ordinate back-up for absent employees, and shift changes.
  9. Coordinate warehouse start-ups, shutdowns, and changeovers.
  10. Schedule and conduct pre-shift meetings.
  11. Responsible to meet shift goals.
  12. Responsible for quality control. Make adjustments as necessary during shift to ensure product being palletized is within specifications. Reject product outside of specifications.
  13. Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  14. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at work
  15. Communicate with other Shift Supervisors and Operations Manager.
  16. Reporting and quality control per SOP’s
  17. Conduct daily audits
  18. Coordinate with Human Resources for appropriate staffing levels.
  19. Ensure a clean and safe work area.
  20. Complete shift paper work.
  21. Respond effectively to the demands of the customers
  22. Coordinate shipments
  23. Other duties as assigned.


  1. Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Knowledge of warehousing processes and procedures. This is normally acquired through two to five years of warehousing experience.
  3. Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required.
