    Primary Responsibility:
    This position represents Maintenance Reliability for Americold’s Facilities Maintenance and Energy global organization. The position is responsible for working closely with Facility Service Directors, Facility Service Managers (Maint. Mgrs), Maintenance Techs, IT, Energy leadership, and Business Development teams and is accountable to enhance the asset Reliability, increase asset Availability and Performance, increase operating margins, and reduce overall maintenance cost. The ability to develop capability across the enterprise to improve cost and reliability is a key focus within this role. This role will serve as the key technical and functional resource within the area of Reliability Maintenance Management, and will lead building a network of expertise of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) at the site level.


    The Maintenance Reliability Director is responsible to develop, design, implement, and maintain the Enterprise SAP PM CMMS solution, develop spare parts strategy and analysis, develop standardized Asset Maintenance Plans (AMP) and optimization, standardize maintenance & reliability KPIs and workflow processes, initiate planning & scheduling routines across enterprise, and play a key role in Americold Operating Systems.


    Essential Functions:

    • Serves as subject matter expert in maintenance reliability best practices and deploys tools / training to field to drive asset reliability (RCM & Total Productive Maintenance)
    • Develop and deploy maintenance reliability improvement programs that improve Asset Availability and Maintenance Performance.
    • Demonstrate the Technical / Engineering expertise to work across Americold to resolve equipment reliability and equipment performance issues.
    • Facilitate and support the identification, planning, and implementation of strategic cost savings and skills development programs in maintenance and equipment reliability.
    • Work across Americold Facility Service Maintenance Teams to develop, train, and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs and implement technologies to insure maximum asset effectiveness.
    • Using FMEA, PM Optimization & RCM methodology, leads the development of Maintenance Playbooks to deliver standardized processes to establish Asset Maintenance Plans.
    • Leads the development and implementation of Early Equipment Management to insure Asset Maintenance Plans and Technical Capabilities to maintain new equipment / technology are in place prior to go-lives.
    • Establish effective / simple management routines and governance system that guides actions to deliver expected reliability and cost performance (KPIs, KAs).
    • Assess SAP PM design / configuration, make recommendations for updates / changes to facilitate accurate data capturing for being able to identify and improve asset reliability, cost, skill deficiencies, materials analytics, bad actors, etc.
    • Leads configuration and management of SAP EAM solution, lead development of end user training, provide site level end user training, and responsible for SAP EAM data management.
    • Leads the development of standard work procedures within SAP PM reporting and analytical development tools for bringing visibility to and developing a program for elimination of Bad Actors (Spend, Component Usage, Labor, etc.).
    • Leads the development and implementation of Maintenance Work Flow process, Asset Hierarchy Ranking, Asset set up, BOM development, MRO Inventory Management, and Maintenance Planning / Scheduling.
    • Makes reliability decisions based on feasibility studies and costing analysis from SAP EAM data, Identifies trends, solve problems, and makes recommendations for process improvements.
    • Other duties as requested


    Education, Training & Professional Experience:

    • Requires Bachelor’s Degree (Engineering preferred), and significant years of applicable work experience
    • 7-10 years of professional experience in the area of Plant Maintenance, Reliability Maintenance and/or Maintenance Mgmt
    • Requires Subject Matter Expertise in SAP Plant Maintenance Modules
    • Minimum 5 years of SAP PM Implementation, Stewardship, and Training experience
    • Requires broad knowledge and strong functional understanding of Reliability Centered Maintenance, MRO Stores and Inventory Management, and Predictive / Condition Based Monitoring technologies
    • Preferred Mulit-Certified Reliability Professional: CMRP, CRL, CRE, and/or RMIC
    • Preferred PMP Certified or ability to gain certification upon hire
